Project description

As part of the Memorandum for Academic Co-operation between the World Maritime University (WMU) and Japan Maritime Centre (JMC), WMU will be carrying on research work concerning the " "International Shipping Policy and Shipping Finance in Greece".  The report should be ready for submission to JMC by February 15, 2016.

Before joining WMU, Dr. Theocharidis was responsible for the legal support of the Shipping & International Division of a large Greek bank in the areas of Shipping Litigation, Ship Finance, Corporate & International Disputes. Prior to that, he acted as in-house and external legal counsel for Greek interest ship-owning companies.

Prof. Ilias Visvikis is a Professor of Ship Finance and Risk Management and the Director of Executive Education and Professional Development at World Maritime University (WMU) in Malmö (Sweden), founded by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), a specialized agency of the United Nations.
