Dong-Wook Song is Korean Chair and Professor of Maritime Logistics at World Maritime University, Sweden. Prior to the current post, he worked at Edinburgh Napier and Heriot-Watt University in the UK, and Hong Kong University. He holds a BA(Hons) with First Class in Shipping Management from Korea Maritime University, an MSc in International Shipping and a PhD in Maritime Policy and Management from the University of Plymouth, UK. He also attended an Industrial Economics Course at the London School of Economics.
Pierre Cariou is Professor in Shipping and Port Economics at the KEDGE Business School in Marseille (France). He is visiting professor at Shanghai Maritime University and the World Maritime University in Malmö, Sweden. Prior to this, he held the French Chair in Maritime Affairs at the World Maritime University in Malmö, Sweden, where he was in charge of Shipping and Port Management specializations. From 2001 to 2004, he was Associate Professor in Economics at the Faculty of Economics of Nantes (France).
